Following our success at CeBIT, we’re running a couple of Webinars this week and next to allow people interested in Affinity to have a closer look.

These Webinars allow you to log in via your web browser from the convenience of your own desk, and see an interactive demonstration of Affinity’s features and a discussion of its benefits. You’ll be able to ask questions through this webinar, and with both VoIP (headphone) support as well as support to dial in using your phone, it couldn’t be easier to join us.

Last night we were very fortunate to win the CeBIT 2009 “Early Innovation” award for our service and client tracking software, Affinity.

The win caps off an incredible week for us, with us passing the milestone of more than a million client interactions tracked, and then our launch of the newest version of Affinity by Dr David Skellern, the CEO of NICTA.

We’d really like to express our thanks and appreciation for our many clients who’s enthusiastic adoption of Affinity helped us to reach these milestones and achieve this success, as well as our many supporters within the startup community.

Today at CeBIT Australia’s Enterprise conference, Geoff McQueen had the pleasure of delivering a presentation which highlighted the main challenge affecting the success of enterprise software implementations: realising effective user adoption.

Looking around at who does user adoption well, and who can teach Enterprise a thing or two, the story of Facebook – with its defined features, platform nature, security model and more – comes to the top of your mind.

This presentation looks at what enterprise software – and the people who purchase, implement and manage it – can learn from the runaway success of Facebook as a user engagement case study.

Overnight we passed an important milestone, with Affinity tracking its 1 millionth client interaction.

What the heck are we talking about? Well, as a tracking tool, Affinity excels at tracking client interactions. These come in lots of different shapes and sizes; some are emails to or from clients, some are internal file notes about clients, some are appointments with clients, and so on.

We’re excited to have cracked this milestone, as it demonstrates the way our users have embraced Affinity for tracking their important client service and work activities; we’re looking forward to passing our next milestone even faster as we bring more and more clients on board.
